Lillie Judge, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Sacred Music from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Music in Voice Performance with a Certificate in Vocology from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music degree in Voice Performance and Literature, with a minor in Music History, at IU under the tutelage of Dr. Brian Gill.
Lillie’s performance career spans opera, concert, and liturgical work. Operatic highlights include the role of La Contessa in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Rosalinde in Strauss II’s Die Fledermaus, and Mrs. Edith Frank in the World Premiere of Shulamit Ran’s Anne Frank at Indiana University. Her concert credits include soprano solos in Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 and Brahm’s Liebeslieder Walzers and Zigeunerlieder at IU. Lillie has served as a soprano section leader in various churches and currently holds a position at First United Methodist Bloomington.
Guided by a deep commitment to human connection and musical excellence, Lillie is passionate about sharing music both on stage and in the studio. She currently serves as an Associate Instructor of Voice at the Jacobs School of Music, teaching secondary voice students, and teaches a wide range of private piano and voice students at Stafford Music Academy in Bloomington, IN. Her outreach work includes performing with FBN Productions in their inaugural Children’s Opera Festival, touring South Carolina to create engaging and accessible operatic experiences for young audiences.
